Safety & Rules

Boxing carries a real risk of injury. These requirements exist to keep everyone on the card as safe as possible.

Combat sports involve a risk of serious injury. Participation is voluntary, requires organizer approval, and requires that all applicable age, consent, medical, insurance, venue and local legal requirements are met first.

Eligibility & legal requirements

  • Participants must satisfy all applicable age, consent, medical, insurance, venue and local legal requirements before taking part.
  • Anyone under 18 must provide parent/guardian information and written parent/guardian consent where legally required.
  • The organizer may decline any application for any reason, including safety concerns.
  • This event is not represented as sanctioned by UFC, any athletic commission or any other organization.

Required safety equipment

  • Padded boxing gloves of the weight specified by the organizer.
  • Mouthguard — required, no exceptions.
  • Headgear where required by the organizer for the division.
  • Groin protection and, where applicable, chest protection.
  • Hand wraps inspected before the bout.

Supervision

  • Every bout must have a designated referee with authority to stop the action at any moment.
  • Adult supervision is required at all times, including warm-ups and sparring.
  • Timekeeping and corner responsibilities are assigned by the organizer before the event.
  • Spectators must stay behind the designated boundary.

Medical & emergency planning

  • Participants confirm they have medical clearance to take part in contact sport.
  • A stocked first-aid kit and a charged phone for emergency services are on site.
  • Emergency contact details are collected for every participant and kept private.
  • Any suspected head injury ends participation for the night — no exceptions, no return to action.
  • Participants consent to emergency medical treatment if they cannot consent at the time.

Rules & prohibited conduct

  • No strikes to the back of the head, spine, throat or groin.
  • No headbutts, elbows, knees, kicks, grappling, chokes or joint locks.
  • Break immediately on the referee's command; protect yourself at all times.
  • No alcohol or drugs before or during participation.
  • Unsportsmanlike behaviour, fighting outside a scheduled bout or ignoring the referee results in immediate removal.

Consent & approval

  • Every participant must acknowledge the rules, the safety requirements and the liability waiver during registration.
  • Parent/guardian consent is required for minors where legally applicable.
  • Medical clearance confirmation is required where required by law or by the organizer.
  • No one participates without explicit organizer approval. Submitting the form does not guarantee participation or a matchup.
